The Inside Out Design Process

Discovery
Our project journey begins with a seamless discovery process designed to align your vision with Avesso Studio. We start with an online client questionnaire to gather key insights into your project scope, and investment expectations. This is followed by a discovery call where we refine your vision and discuss your project goals, design preferences, and investment expectations.
Next, an in-depth fee-based consultation allows us to explore your lifestyle, functional needs, and aesthetics, ensuring we understand every aspect of your project. A creative fee proposal and a ballpark estimate for the project are then presented, allowing for an open discussion to align expectations before moving forward.
Once approved, our Inside + Out Meeting and Measurement Day provides an in-depth on-site assessment, ensuring every detail is captured to set a strong foundation for design.
In the design phase, we bring your vision to life, beginning with concept design, where we craft a vision statement and curate mood boards that define your project’s aesthetic direction. We then transition into the design development, refining the development of detailed floor plans, exterior experiences, and spatial layouts, and selection of key materials, plants, finishes, color palettes, and furniture arrangements

A pivotal milestone is the Design Review meeting, where we present 3D visualizations and a detailed design proposal, ensuring all elements align with your expectations. Feedback is integrated through a structured revision process before moving into contractor estimation visits. This involves an on-site meeting with selected contractors to assess feasibility, adjust for structural considerations, and refine the investment scope.

The final step in this phase is the completion of technical drawings and construction documentation, detailing millwork specifications, lighting plans, material selections, and landscaping elements. This culminates in our Design Presentation, where we align on procurement strategies and finalize approvals, setting the stage for seamless execution.

The Project Fulfillment phase ensures the smooth transition from design to reality. We manage procurement, placing and tracking orders while overseeing vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution. Our team works closely with the builders and contractors, managing expectations and weekly progress updates to uphold quality and adherence to design specifications.

As we approach completion, our focus shifts to installation and styling, where every detail, from furniture placement to final decor styling, is meticulously executed. A comprehensive client walkthrough allows for final refinements, ensuring every aspect of the project meets our exacting standards before handover.
Beyond project completion, Avesso Studio remains committed to your long-term satisfaction. A post-occupancy evaluation ensures your space functions as intended, with adjustments made if necessary. We provide a digital care binder, offering maintenance guidelines and vendor details to help you maintain your new environment effortlessly.
